Kozo Washi Wallpaper "KOZO 6" Tomita Original Wallpaper Collection
Tomita's original washi wallpaper "Kozo 6," where the potential of kozo and the artisan's exceptional techniques merge.
The KOZO collection started in 1988 with the desire to introduce Japan's proud washi paper as wallpaper to people, and to pass on the culture, tradition, and beauty of Japanese washi to future generations. Among wallpapers, using kozo (paper mulberry), which can be harvested in winter before the leaves fall, is environmentally friendly, and the beauty of washi wallpaper, which is enhanced over time, is one of the very important options in today's world where the necessity for a sustainable circular society is being questioned. The sixth installment, "KOZO 6," aims to discover and communicate the new charm of washi, and to pursue the potential of the material itself, we have returned to our roots and started by re-evaluating the latent capabilities of washi and techniques that have been somewhat avoided until now, resulting in an exquisite original collection that we want to share with the world.
